We are Gen Xers. I think all of us can relate to being Dreamers. Parts of your growing up are our Wonder Years too. We grew up on The Partridge Family and the Brady Bunch. American Bandstand and Soul Train. All of us were dreaming the same dreams. A few of us are still dreaming the same dreams.
Townes wrote a great song that time and Carlos G. sings from the heart . Well, his heart anyway. Some dude named Prophet wrote a lot of my favorite songs. I really wish I could be at the Continental this weekend but I’ll be stuck at the 40 watt in Athens Ga. Don’t go acting like you don’t know your tribe. Tape a hunk of cardboard over that window and keep driving .
Enjoyed seeing you at Space in Evanston some days ago.
Read this today then tossed on “110 in the Shade” from Balinese Dancer… after your mention of earlier country music notions.

I’m just say’n.

I’ve heard many of those Prophet dude’s songs as well. Yer right… they don’t suck.
“Fuck-ups without Borders” - That was worth this month’s subscription all by itself. You guys look like you’re having a ball onstage.
That post title, amazing. I just re-listened to “The Land that Time Forgot” earlier today, so reading this truly hit the spot. Thanks! - Titus
