Just been reminiscing with an old, old friend I recently reconnected with after a very long time, about seeing Green on Red in Trinity College Dublin Ireland in 1985 (I think). Sending you positive vibes and good wishes from the land of Van, Philo and Rory. May the force be with you Chuck. Go n-éirí an bóthar leat.
Sheesh! You got the right attitude, amigo. If it's treatable, it's DEFINITELY beatable! Let's just hope that you're not stuck drinking kale smoothies for the rest of your life.
Peace and Love (as Ringo would say), Chuck and Steph. Sending you hugs from Denver as you begin this new journey. You have so many people on your side sending positive vibes! And yes, you should "bring a book." xoxo Lori Gates
The Hurting Business! You may come out Battered And Bruised but, You Got What It Takes! How Many Angels for a Happy Ending? Yes, I'm Talking To You Chuck, It Won't Be Long and you'll be out on the hillbilly highway. I Couldn't Be Happier with the thought of seeing you in the Uk again. you don't need to make an Apology, we're all rootin' for you to Rise and rip it up with The Mission Express! Best be Lucky, Dude. Big love
Welcome to the cancer club, the club nobody wants to join. Once you're a member you'll find we understand each other. I'm a stage 4 colon and liver cancer survivor myself, my tumor metastases to the liver and I had 25% of the colon removed along with 30% of the liver. The liver grows back, the only part of the body that regenerates. You get to eat a lot of barbecue. I got to watch my daughters grow up and one of them is taking pre-med college courses and wants to be an oncologist. You also get to be a semi-colon.
Attitude is everything and we know you got attitude! You are in great medical hands with a proven therapy, so your mission is complete remission with an anticipated CT scan going better than planned. Take time to heal, write (perhaps a soul drenched symphonic double album) and recover and know you have the love and support of Stephanie, family, friends and fans to help you along the road to wellness. So, keep in mind Brother Aldo, this is the age of miracles and with us, there is no other love Night Surfer, so we wish you love as well as luck. After treatment and you’re feeling better, we all look forward to seeing you back on stage rocking the blues away as only you do.
I love that you have your sense of humor fully intact. Humor sometimes is the best medicine and the only relief or release from the gravity of life. Yes, gravity talks and we can talk back, even joke around with gravity, float a few puns. You have the Permanente and I once worked for ICF Kaiser Engineers - remotely related - the corporations, not you and me. If the Permanente ain't enough I will chip in to help. I'm serious.
Can’t wait to see you tonight in Santander, Spain!!!!

You have always had the positive Karma. Wishing you luck and some great gigs that follow.
