“Hi, I’m Chuck and this is my Substack story!” How I lost 30 pounds eating lunch with tech bros. A baker’s dozen of Magic Moments in recorded sound. In no particular order. Professor Prophet and the Deep Dive…I’m surprised that I even knew 4 out of 12! I can’t wait to cue up the playlist. I hope all are well. Hey Steph 🔥🖤🔥
It's pretty obvious the dj bug bit you hard as a result of "Trip in the Country" and you happen to be great at it; I hope you find gig with a wider reach than us Substack subscribers. In the meantime, I think I speak for the entire platoon when I ask for you to please keep these playlists coming. Seger's "RGM" is an all-time great and why stop at the opening drums? How about the intro of the organ riff? And thanks for the intro to Calvin Russell; had never heard of him.
Thank you for some artists to dig into. FWIW, “Hey Bulldog” was my sons favorite Beatles track as a preschooler. He’s always had a talent for ferreting out the overlooked treasure.
(Hand raised) Hey Proph after listening to the playlist my score has changed to 7 out of 12.
Surely a passing grade.
Maybe a B-…? Lol

As I read this, I imagined it as an episode of Trip in the Country, complete with Chuckapedia. 😎

I can always count on you CP. Still hoping to see a show in your neck of the woods someday.
Please come to Seattle! Headed down next month to see you in Redding. Can’t wait!
Keep ‘makin it up’ Chuck! Enjoying it!!
Just saw Al n Nancy a few minutes ago here in NYC and was thinking of you---when this popped up on my phone. Syncronicity!
This is icy lemonade for this sizzling Georgia afternoon.
Long live TITC
Made a Spotify playlist while reading. Lovin these tracks. Didn’t know about the Cnts. Good one.
Chuck, King of cool, always, forever.

This is great Chuck. I can see I'm going to disappear down a few rabbit holes here. TITC for a new age!
