I love Mose’s work! When I lived in Alabama, I’d seek him out at the Kentuck Arts Festival and he was always so prolific and kind. Thanks for this piece! Brought back some great memories!
Great story, thanks for sharing. Followed the link and definitely not getting his work for "fiddy" now. Are the 2 paintings at the end of the story the ones you purchased?
Sorry, Chuck but this fellow's atuff doesn't do much for me in spit of the cool back story .. different streaks for different freaks , I guess... Take care
Good story, Chuck.
Went to his house years ago and got myself a watermelon painting which now I have no idea where it is! Really nice man very cool and weird paintings
You tell us about Mose. We tell others about you. The others tell everyone about us.

Beautiful tribute.
History seems to show people named Mose are going to be cool and talented. More proof right here.
Yeah, good call!
Solid. I stare at the painting and the painting stares back. It’s happenied to me with my own work.

Yep.
This just might be the case where 1000 words tells the picture, and then suddenly the picture tells 1000 words.
Always interesting to read about people you've encountered and / or their art.
Thanks again for exposing me to fascinating folks.

Your poor grammar and punctuation don’t do much for me either. So I suppose we’re even.
BOOM😂
Thank you for sharing those beautiful memories in these ugly times - let there be light.
I love this, and all the wonderful heartfelt stories you share that grow on your twisty road💜
Hey Chuck, I think you must be one of the lucky ones. Your stories always show how much you pay attention to life. Thanks Buddy
Love these reminiscences. It also reminding me of the Silos whom I've completely lost track of.
Yeah...those paintings make me smile every time I see them. I love this story.
